In Oklahoma, Chiropractic Physicians Can Now Renew Licenses Online
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma State Board of Chiropractic Examiners launched a new service allowing chiropractic physicians to renew their licenses online.
“The new online license renewal process greatly reduces the amount of paper required to administer the license renewal process,” said Beth Carter, Executive Director of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. “We are excited about the opportunity to provide a more efficient, user-friendly, license renewal process to chiropractors.”
The renewal process allows licensees to pay online with Visa, MasterCard and electronic check payments utilizing OK.gov’s secure payment engine. Upon completing the renewal process and approval from the board, licensees can print their certificates, thus reducing mailing and printing costs for the state. As a result of the online license renewal system, the board estimates about $5,000 and 160 employee hours will be saved in the first renewal cycle alone.
The online service is a product of a partnership between the Board of Chiropractic Examiners and OK.gov, Oklahoma’s Official Web site managed by the eGovernment firm, NIC Inc. (Nasdaq: EGOV).
